The Parent Community Action Team offered a Family Literacy Night on Thursday, January 28th from 6:00 - 7:30 PM in our O'Callaghan Middle School Library. We shared ideas on how you can assist your child with reading at home. Topics of discussion at our Literacy Family Night/Promoting Reading at Home included:

* Understanding the Reading Process
* Reading vocabulary
* Exploration of literacy websites
* Book Suggestions for Middle School
* Ways to promote Reading at home

Technology Family Night...

This event took place on Thursday, February 25th, in the computer labs, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Parents came to learn about how to use the internet & how to help their child be prepared for the future. ParentLink training will also be provided. Thank you for coming.
